NNS: Kyle Busch Holds On To Win At Richmond, Again

If I were to tell you Kyle Busch would go on to win at Richmond, out of all places, would you believe me? Probably the most dominant driver in the last five years at Richmond International Raceway, Busch went on to secure yet another NASCAR Nationwide Series win Friday night.

Tonight's victory was the fourth victory and 12th top-10 finish in 15 races at Richmond, not to mention this was his 51st career NASCAR Nationwide Series victory.

As to be expected at Richmond or any other short track, tempers were flared, and hopes were gone for some drivers as the race went on. But isn't that "Racing to Perfection" as Richmond proudly displays? That's what we live for, right?

Trevor Bayne was probably the most vocal late Friday night, as he expressed his displeasure with Kevin Harvick, but there is more to that story than just listening to the transcripts.

Harvick was involved with some drama of his own when he got into Leffler, sending the opposing car straight into the wall. Whether you believe it was intentional or not is irrelevant, the key is that it happened.

So, knowing what happened with Harvick and Leffler, we can move on to Harvick and Bayne. Apparently, Bayne had got just a 'tad' bit loose, which forced his car to nudge Harvick's into the wall. As soon as Harvick hit the wall, he quickly bounced back hitting Bayne, which later destroyed the 16 car.

Most would say that it was a chain reaction when Harvick's car bounced off the wall to hit Bayne's, but the driver of the No. 16 Roush Fenway Ford saw things differently.

Bayne's explanation was that Harvick was trying to block Sadler from advancing his position, that might have been the case, but it's just an assumption. I couldn't possibly imagine what kind of 'beef' Harvick would have with Sadler, could you?

From Brian Scott giving Aric Almirola the finger, to Bayne's accusations that Harvick's move was intentional, Friday night surely had a 'short track' feel, where racing was nearly perfected.

Also, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. won tonight's "Dash 4 Cash", as he won a total of $100,000.

The Nationwide boys will be taking their drivers abilities to Chicagoland next, which sets up another great action-packed race.
